A group of international student ambassadors came to learn about Capital Area Teen Court from the Caribbean’s! These students learned about how Teen Court works, how North Carolina deals with juvenile justice, and then attended a mock court night performed by some of our best youth volunteers!

Capital Area Teen Court was invited to Wake County Sheriff’s Department’s 2025 Summer Camp! Our volunteers completed a mock court night so that the camp’s attendees would get a feel for what Teen Court is.

A group of international student ambassadors came to learn about Capital Area Teen Court from Algeria! These students learned about how Teen Court works by attending one of our court nights. Students sat on the jury alongside youth volunteers and clients.

Some of our best youth volunteers attended the Teen Court Summit Mock Trial competition where Wake County won best defendant—congrats, Nikhil! The team spent the weekend in Greensboro, NC, preparing and presenting their case, eating good food, and dancing it out!
