Amy Hall is the Capital Area Teen Court program supervisor. Amy has been with Capital Area Teen Court for over 15 years and has seen the evolution of our program and systems. Amy works with clients, as well as with our funding source, to ensure our program runs smoothly. A fun fact about Amy is that in her spare time, she paints decorative signs and dabbles in interior design!

Essence Sauls is a case manager for Capital Area Teen Court and was born & raised in Raleigh! Essence is a graduate of North Carolina Central University’s School of Behavorial Sciences, earning her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in Juvenile Justice. Essence has a lot of knowledge about the Juvenile Justice system and has always wanted to be a part of a diversion program. She enjoys playing monster trucks with her two nephews and spending time with her friends and family.

Liz Wilson is the Volunteer Coordinator for Capital Area Teen Court! Liz is from Durham, North Carolina and attended Appalachian State University. Liz graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology, a bachelor’s in criminal justice, a minor in English, and is currently working on getting their master’s in research psychology. Liz enjoys crocheting, reading, motorcycles, and spending time with their pets.

Francheska Duarte-Santos is the Program Coordinator for the Teen Traffic Diversion Program at Capital Area Teen Court. Francheska graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. She is passionate about public service and community advocacy, and she hopes to continue making a difference through youth justice work. In her free time, Francheska enjoys traveling, painting, hiking, and spending time with friends.

Jakirra Collins is the bilingual case manager for Capital Area Teen Court. Jakirra was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has a bachelor’s in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from North Carolina A & T State University. Jakirra is currently enrolling in law school to earn her JD and fulfill her dream of being a bilingual criminal defense attorney. She loves music, TV, traveling, and sports cars!
